🛡️ Security First, Zero Retention

Welcome to BugHunters Vision. We built this tool with a "Security First, Zero Retention" philosophy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle data when you use our API and NPM package.

1. How We Process Visual Test Data (The API)

Our core premise is that we do not want your data.

Stateless Processing: When your CI/CD pipeline sends images to our API (/api/compare), the Base64 images exist in memory solely for the duration of the request.
Zero Storage: We do not write your screenshots, baseline images, or UI data to any database, file system, or long-term cloud storage. Once the AI evaluation is complete, the data is immediately discarded.
Third-Party AI Models: We use Anthropic (Claude) via API to process the images. Under our enterprise agreement with Anthropic, your images and prompts are NOT used to train their AI models.

2. Account and Billing Data

To provide the service, we collect minimal operational data:

Authentication: We use Unkey.dev to manage API tokens and token limits. We store your API token identifier and remaining credit balances.
Email & Contact: If you purchase a license, we store your email and billing information through our payment provider (e.g., Stripe) to send invoices and service updates.

3. Local Artifacts

The BugHunters Vision NPM package generates HTML reports and saves baseline images. All of this happens locally on your machine or your CI runner. We have no access to your local bhv-report or bhv-snapshots folders.
